RevolutionParts Announces Winners of the 1st Annual Parts Excellence Awards

PHOENIX, AZ, February 2, 2021 — Today RevolutionParts announced the winners of the 1st Annual Parts Excellence Awards.

“We are excited to take this opportunity to recognize the hard work and expertise of automotive parts departments across the nation,” says Ibrahim Mesbah, CEO and Co-Founder of RevolutionParts. “In a challenging year for automotive dealers, parts stood as a bright spot of growth for many dealerships.”

RevolutionParts introduced the Parts Excellence Awards this year as a way to celebrate the top performing names in OEM part and accessory sales. This year’s winners include:

Parts Department of the Year:
Garry Ricci, Quality Buick GMC

Garry Ricci, Parts and Service Director of Quality Buick GMC is a Renaissance Man of the automotive industry. Having gotten started with parts eCommerce in 2003, Garry has been a pioneer of a now rapidly growing industry. How does he do it? He hires the right people, empowers them to do their jobs well, and builds simple processes that work. It’s these values that have earned Garry Ricci the RevolutionParts 2020 Parts Department of the Year Award.

eCommerce Excellence Award:
Michael King, Tasca Parts

Michael King has a knack for making things work—parts eCommerce being one of them. That has earned him and Tasca Parts the RevolutionParts 2020 Parts eCommerce Excellence Award. Ending 2020 with more than $14.6 Million in online parts and accessories revenue, Michael firmly secures his parts business as a top performer in the automotive industry.

Rookie of the Year:
Jeremy Deming, Sewell Ford

While most dealers entering parts eCommerce for the first time are excited to hit $30k a month halfway through their first year, others like RevolutionParts’ Rookie of the Year have much higher expectations. Jeremy Deming, Parts Manager of Sewell Ford, started his online parts selling journey in April of 2020 and now he is regularly generating $100k in sales each month.

Top Amazon Seller:
Robert Fazzi, Elmhurst Toyota

It takes a special type of salesman to dominate a part and accessory marketplace such as Amazon—Robert Fazzi is one of those salesmen. Robert is an expert at generating part and accessory sales at volume and directing return customers to his standalone web store in droves. It’s this level of expertise that has earned Robert the RevolutionParts 2020 Top Amazon Seller Award.

Parts Influencer of the Year:
Dave Foy, Prime Motor Group

Dave Foy, also known as the Fixed Ops Mastermind, has been named RevolutionParts 2020 Parts Influencer of the Year. Dave lives up to his moniker and then some, having spent decades perfecting his skill of shifting company culture and building indestructible dealership teams. Dave prides himself on his effective coaching, stating, “if you have something valuable to share, you are doing a disservice to others if you do not share it.”

RevolutionParts helps dealers take advantage of the growth in online parts sales. The 1st Annual Parts Excellence Awards winners represent the pinnacle of the power of parts eCommerce.
